Our suppliers are certified by independent and accredited auditors to ensure that our products are of the highest quality possible and they come from the sustainable sources.  

Each one of our suppliers is awarded with:

•    ISO 9002 Quality Management System Certification

•    ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

In addition, Solaris Paper and our major suppliers’ mills have achieved Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) Chain-of-Custody Certification.  

Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, PEFC is a leading, internationally recognized forest management certification program.  PEFC endorses the Australian Forest Certification Scheme and, among other things, ensures the legal and non-controversial origin of the fiber used in production process and the percentage of fibre which comes from certified forest operations.

On average, 90% of our suppliers’ woodchip supply for pulp-making comes from sustainable plantations operated by its exclusive suppliers and intends to increase gradually the sustainable plantation woodchip supply to 100%.

We must adhere to the stringent PEFC requirements which will assure our customers that the certified products they purchase have been produced using materials from PEFC CoC certified processing/manufacturing operations.

PEFC promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third party certification and provides an assurance mechanism to purchases of wood and paper products that they are promoting the sustainable management of forests.
