Solaris Paper and its affiliate APP share the same philosophy, that is, we are committed to promoting sustainable development which is economically, socially and environmentally responsible.
100% of the product imported to Australia by Solaris is legal. The company is committed to purchasing material from sources that demonstrate legality and will not knowingly purchase product or raw materials from illegal sources.
Solaris Paper Pty Ltd’s plant at Greystanes is PEFC Chain of Custody Certified, which means Solaris can supply PEFC CoC certified product.
A PEFC certification is one of two globally recognised certification schemes that ensure wood material is legal, traceable and from sustainably managed forests.

However, less than 10% of the world’s wood supplies are certified. Therefore, Solaris also supplies bathroom product from raw material known by the industry terminology as "non-controversial". This term refers to wood material that is legal in its country of origin and backed by voluntary and mandatory chain of custody and sustainable forest management schemes.
Solaris also fully supports the Indonesian national forestry standard, LEI (Lembaga Ekolabel Indonesia) and commends the Indonesian government on the introduction of mandatory forestry standards – the SVLK and PHPL. These standards ensure that Indonesian wood fibre products are legal and from sustainably managed forests.
